All participants are able to execute a medium-sized software development project in a team, using a systematic engineering approach and modern state-of-the-art methods and tools.
All participants need to be able to demonstrate the effective application of selected practices from the following disciplines:
- Business modelling
- Requirements
- Analysis and design
- Implementation
- Verification
- Deployment
- Configuration and change management
The taxonomy and format of the Unified Process (UP) and the Unified Modelling Language (UML) will be used whenever appropriate.

Plan und Lerninhalt:
All participants will be required to execute a medium-sized software development project from inception through to deployment.
Each participant is required to form a team of 4 to 5 participants. Being able to successfully form a team is a prerequisite for this course.
Each team is assigned an advisor who keeps track of the team's progress over a number of review meetings.
At the end of the project, each team is required to present their project to the rest of the participants and submit all project artefacts.
